Biosafety Clearing House is a database created under the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety that aims to facilitate the exchange of information on Living Modified Organisms. Scientific, technical, environmental, legal as well as capacity building information is available in the six official languages used by the United Nations. Malaysia is a Member of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety and contributes information to this database.

FAO GM Foods Platform is a database that provides safety assessment information on foods produced from recombinant plant DNA using Codex Guideline for the conduct of food safety assessment of foods derived from recombinant-DNA plants (CAC/GL 45-2003, annex III adopted in 2008).
