For IBCs already registered with the National Biosafety Board (NBB), any changes in the IBC details than what was previously registered (e.g. changes in membership, IBC address, etc.) must be notified to the Department of Biosafety through the submission of Form G1 (NBB/IBC/22/FORM G(1) )

Description:
These guidelines provide methods for establishing IBCs, the role of IBCs and the processes to be followed when obtaining, using, transferring, storing or disposing of LMO/recombinant DNA material. It also provides a description of the relevant rules and procedures. Other information available in these guidelines are such as the responsibilities of the Biological Safety Officer (BSO) and researchers, IBC expertise, a description of the types of assessments that IBCs need to conduct, actions required to report incidents, injuries and other information.
